Our story
Since 1965, Gordon’s Viking Sewing Center has been finding homes for our Husqvarna Viking sewing machines. We believe that for every sewer, there is a machine that is the perfect fit.
We’ve made it our mission to listen to our customers and match them to the right model.
Our local family-owned center has had sewers of all ages come through the doors.
So whether you need help learning the basics, are in store for a new machine, or need help with repairs, we are at your service.
Sewing is trending
In previous generations, a stigma was attached to wearing homemade clothes, but that stigma has reversed entirely in recent years.
According to research by the Craft & Hobby Trade Association, more than 1 million people have taken up sewing in the last three years. Now, 7.7 million people consider sewing to be their hobby.
Sewing has been a tradition for more than 20,000 years. Many used to learn how to sew through their ancestors, but more recently, that knowledge transfer has been lost.
At Gordon’s Viking Sewing Center, we work to strengthen the tradition of sewing and hope to inspire others to pass down that knowledge to their loved ones.
